Shan Chen is a Ph.D. student at Harvard-MGB AIM, where he is under the guidance of Hugo Aerts Ph.D. and Danielle Bitterman MD. His research is focused on Natural Language Processing, particularly in the clinical applications and generative models evaluation.

Shan completed his M.S. in Computational Linguistics from Brandeis University and his undergraduate studies in Math, Japanese, and Linguistics at St. Olaf College. Outside of his academic work, Shan is passionate about dragon boat racing, kyudo, and basketball.
